Ms. Plăcintescu specializes in all matters related to labour and employee benefits. She has advised both state-owned and privately held companies in different industries, as well as Governmental bodies on complex labour matters, such as collective bargaining agreements, negotiations with trade unions, employee layoffs, voluntary retirement plans, social compensation plans, benefits, pensions and termination schemes.

She has also constantly assisted multinational companies in the planning and implementation of extensive restructuring and redundancy plans in Romania in connection with the full range of employment law issues.

Ms. Placintescu’s other areas of practice include real estate and construction, as well as corporate and commercial law. Ms. Plăcintescu has a considerable experience in real estate projects, covering all stages of the acquisition of real estate and development of the large-scale residential and commercial real estate projects, project financing and real estate structured finance.

Ms. Plăcintescu speaks Romanian and English and is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association.
