Mr. Maravela holds a LL.M. from the Warwick University, and is recognized for having gained a notable expertise in mergers & acquisitions/privatization, real estate & construction matters as well as in domestic and international arbitration.

He was involved as team leader in numerous successful acquisitions and in a wide range of major real estate deals, being an experienced coordinator of both complex and multi-jurisdictional legal projects shaped on various transaction structures including forward funding and forward commitment, as well as complex financing and securitization schemes.

Mr. Maravela has coordinated numerous industry projects including green field projects structuring and implementation and has participated in the reorganization and privatization of major state owned companies as well as in various successfully settled international arbitration proceedings.

His areas of practice include corporate/commercial law, his wide experience in the field spanning from corporate liability issues, special corporate vehicles, share capital issues and shareholding structures, to corporate governance issues, management procedures, minority shareholders rights and shareholders disputes. Mr. Maravela is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association and speaks Romanian, English and French.
