Ms. Suciu’s other main specialization is banking & finance, where she gathered an unparalleled experience by advising in relation to the full spectrum of financial services and products including syndicated lending and leveraged and acquisition finance, asset finance, derivative products, project finance, financial regulatory, insolvency & restructuring and structured finance.

Ms. Suciu has built a considerable experience and understanding of energy-related projects, energy sector financing and restructuring, as she has advised major players on the utilities sector in complex transactions, issues brought about by continued market liberalization, legal and functional unbundling included.

She constantly assisted clients in meeting the ever more complex demands of regulatory frameworks, such as emissions and energy trading, power generation, distribution, transmission and supply licensing, etc. She was consistently engaged in a variety of high profile deals conducted in the past years, advising on all matters related to projects structuring and negotiation as well as overseeing regulatory compliance and successful implementation thereof.

She is a frequent lecturer on banking and project finance as well as on energy matters. She speaks Romanian, English and French and is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association and the National Insolvency Practitioners Association.
