The latest edition of the International Financial Law Review, one of the most prestigious international publications on the legal market, acknowledged Mușat & Asociații’s outstanding expertise, by ranking the firm into top tier in all four areas of expertise researched by the British publication. Mușat & Asociații is, along with NNDKP, the only law firm on the local market placed by the 20th edition of IFLR at the top of their rankings in mergers & acquisitions, banking law, capital markets and project finance.

As compared to the previous edition, Mușat & Asociații was ranked on a higher position in project finance, due to the variety of projects assisted, involving complex finance schemes, in areas such as real estate, power or environmental projects. Also, the British publication nominated six of the firm’s partners as “leading lawyers” in the financial-banking field: Gheorghe Mușat, Mona Mușat, Cătălin Băiculescu, Miruna Suciu, Gelu-Titus Maravela and Iuliana Craiciu.
The research made by the British specialists considered criteria related to the quality of the legal act, analyzing the innovation exhibited in approaching the legal projects, the complexity of the consultancy activity, the cross-border experience, the capacity to provide legal assistance at international standards, as well as the client portfolio and respectively the transactions advised in 2008/2009.
