Daniel Ivășcanu joins Mușat & Asociații’s legal team
Mușat & Asociații, one of the leading law firms in Romania, has recently extended its legal team by recruiting Daniel Ivășcanu, a former Senior Associate with Țuca Zbârcea și Asociații. He is specialized in local project finance, municipal bond issues, insurance and private pensions, as well as in mergers and acquisitions / privatisation.
With a ten years experience in the business law, Daniel Ivășcanu has advised project finance (including municipal bond issues) in worth of over EUR 140 million, various insurance and private pensions projects (e.g. the setting up of AIG Fond de pensii by AIG; the Romanian green-field of Europ Assistance, a major player on the market of specific services for insurance companies, carrying out the life insurance activity in Romania through the European Passport by CNP Assurances, a top 3 French Insurance company etc.), mergers & acquisitions (e.g. the acquisition of Foradex S.A. by the Consortium Amteck Investiții – Cuprom – Ipronef) etc.
For Mușat & Asociații, the beginning of 2008 marked the consolidation of its managing structure with the promotion of Cătălin Băiculescu and Ion Dragne to Co-Managing Partners position, together with the promotion of Delia Topoleanu and Anca Mușat to partnership.
This year Mușat & Asociații is planning to extend its team with 8-10 experienced lawyers, particularly in the fields of mergers & acquisitions, real estate, financing and litigation.
