Assisted a Romanian leading company that offers technical and engineering services in connection with various acquisition and implementation projects as the public acquisition projects ongoing with the Romanian Ministry of Defense or other main public authorities. The mandates includes assisting the client with the preparing the steps for the tender procedure, representing the client in claims initiated against the results of the tender(s) and overcoming any obstacles in the implementation of the projects, which require constant legal assistance.

Assisted a newly established Romanian engineering and consultancy company — specialized in naval architecture, marine and subsea engineering, and structural design—in connection with a public procurement procedure organized by a military unit under the authority of the Ministry of National Defense. The assistance involved representing and defending the client’s interests in challenges brought against the contracting authority’s decisions, including preparing legal claims, advising on procedural strategy, and ensuring compliance with national public procurement legislation.

Assisted a global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, through its subsidiary (global leader in high-end resin technology and services, operating in more than 30 countries) in the development of various potential transactions and projects with the local Romanian authorities in connection with the development of a waste water treatment plant.

Assisted a local leading company offering technical and engineering services, in connection with various military procurement projects with the Romanian Ministry of Defence, on all stages of the procurement process, including on steps for the finalisation of the tender procedure and execution of the public procurement contract, and also in relation to maintaining the complex participation structure and complying with the multi-jurisdictional requirements, military regulatory matters and agreements to be concluded with foreign and local partners.

Assisted a Turkish leading group, included in the Top International Contractors list published by the US “Engineering News Record”, active in international infrastructure projects, highways, expressways, railway and metro systems, gas/oil pipelines, dams and hydroelectric power plants etc., in contentious and non-contentious matters in connection with the participation in various awarding procedures for design and build contracts with respect to the execution of motorways in Romania.

Assisted a Turkish top international contractor, active in the areas of construction and infrastructure (e.g. highways, airports, dams, tunnels, bridges), in matters pertaining to the participation and implementation of major public construction works in Romania in cooperation with public authorities, e.g. the National Railway Company (in Romanian, “CFR”), METROREX S.A., the National Road Infrastructure Management Company (in Romanian, “CNAIR”), the National Investment Company (in Romanian, “CNI”) and the Intercommunity Development Association for Metropolitan Infrastructure.

Assisted a major Turkish commercial vehicles manufacturer, in connection with various acquisition and implementation projects for delivery of electric buses to municipalities aimed at modernising the public transport infrastructure in the biggest cities of Romania.
