The mandate primarily covered: an in-depth analysis of the applicable legal framework governing electronic and electrical equipment waste, management of the contractual relationship with a key Extended Producer Responsibility organization in Romania, identifying suitable solutions to ensure the proper fulfillment of annual targets and thereby avoiding sanctions from regulatory authorities, handling correspondence with state institutions responsible for Extended Producer Responsibility regulations, and providing ongoing legal advice, including participation in working meetings and discussions with representatives of the Ministry of Environment and relevant industry associations to clarify and improve the current legislative framework, as well as to draft normative acts for the transposition of European legislation.

Assisted a global manager of alternative investment products, for private and institutional clients, founded in Bahrain in 1982, with offices in United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, India, China and Singapore and USD 34,2 billion value of assets under management, in connection with the takeover of the 100% stake in one of the Europe’s leading centres of excellence in the field of software development, continuously active on the Romanian market since 1998, with over 400 employees, being one of the largest software employer in south Romania.

Assisted a global leading e-commerce retailer, highly regarded as one of the Big Five American information technology companies, in connection with implementation of one of the largest share capital increases in currency (approx. EUR 40,000,000) for a local (Romanian) e-commerce company. The mandate included assistance in determining the most beneficial way to implement the funding, in light of the potential tax constraints, as well as for the implementation of such by amending to the least extent the shareholding structure of the entity.
