Horaţiu Dumitru, senior associate with Muşat & Asociaţii law firm, received the excellency diploma from the e-Finance magazine for the extensive collaboration in the field of legal advisory provided to IT & C companies, at the 100th anniversary issue of the magazine.

For more than seven years, Horaţiu Dumitru has been writing the e-Legal Focus column, covering hot subjects from an e-commerce perspective, including electronic intellectual property, private data protection in the virtual environment, as well as other appealing subjects regarding online gambling, data retention, open-source licenses or the freedom of speech on the internet. “I enjoy assisting the knowledgeable Romanian public in discovering the ways foreign courts of law employ to solve cases situated at the turn between law and new technologies, hoping that highlighting the respective errors and controversies will help our IT & C companies to avoid falling in the same trap, at least by requesting assistance from experienced law firms”, says Horaţiu Dumitru, Senior Associate Muşat & Asociaţii.
